Death Hits Nominated MP David Sankok's son shoots after shooting himself.

Police and the family said the boy was a Form 4 student.

Tragedy has struck the home of nominated MP David Sankok after his son shot himself dead at his father’s home in Narok on Monday 2nd May.

He is said to have used his father’s gun to commit the incident.

Police, and the family said Memusi Sankok  was a Form 4 student at Kericho High School.

Mteuleonline24 has established that DCI detectives visited the scene to collect forensic evidence to start investigations. The body was later retrieved at their home.

“The father was not home when the boy shot himself and it's not clear how to be accessed the firearm that should have been properly secured,” said a senior officer aware of the incident.

“He was 15 year old. He shot himself dead in his father’s home. We don’t know the motive,” said another officer.

Family sources indicated that the son and father have been having differences over his academic performance.

Police said they are investigating the motive of the incident.
