Story of Her Life: 42-Year-Old Security Guard Graduates With BCom Finance. Milkah Mwasi in a JKUAT graduation gown on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 Milkah Mwasi is happy about two things in life, one is that she graduated with a Second Class Upper in Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), and two that she is a testament to grit and perseverance.  The 42-year-old worked as a security guard to finance her education and she was elated at having completed her education, over two decades after she sat her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in 1994.  At the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) graduation on Tuesday, June 28, Milkah was all smiles, spreading her gown like a reborn eagle that has managed to shed its beak, talons and feathers, rearing to journey a new phase in life.  “I thank God for graduating at the age of 42 years. Upcoming ICT Guru's Celebrates after Uhuru Rubbishes Signing of a Controversial ICT Bill Into Law

President Uhuru Kenyatta has refused to sign into law  the controversial Information Communication Technology Practitioners Bill commonly referred to as the ICT Bill.  While assenting to other Bills presented to him at State House, Nairobi on Tuesday, June 21, the President sent the Bill to Parliament with a memoranda asking the House to listen to practitioners and put into consideration their concerns. The Bill, which was approved by the National Assembly less than a fortnight ago, attracted backlash from Kenyans who termed it ridiculous.  President Uhuru Kenyatta signs deals at State House. Sun 5th, Jun 22 || By    Mteuleonline24  Writer Raila appoints Prof Kithure Kindiki’s brother as his assistant Chief Agent Raila Odinga on Sunday, June 5, received the green light to vie for the presidency under the Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya coalition party. The ODM leader appeared before the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) alongside his running mate Martha Karua. He named lawyer Saitabu ole Kanchori as his Chief Agent. Kanchori will be deputized by Nyeri Deputy Governor Caroline Karugu, Prof. Isaiah Wa Kindiki, ODM Executive Director Dr Oduor Ong’wen and lawyer, Paul Mwangi. Interestingly, Kindiki is the elder brother of Prof. Kithure Kindiki who was unveiled as Deputy President William Ruto's Chief Agent yesterday.
