Raila appoints Prof Kithure Kindiki’s brother as his assistant Chief Agent


Raila Odinga on Sunday, June 5, received the green light to vie for the presidency under the Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya coalition party.


The ODM leader appeared before the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) alongside his running mate Martha Karua.


He named lawyer Saitabu ole Kanchori as his Chief Agent.


Kanchori will be deputized by Nyeri Deputy Governor Caroline Karugu, Prof. Isaiah Wa Kindiki, ODM Executive Director Dr Oduor Ong’wen and lawyer, Paul Mwangi.


Interestingly, Kindiki is the elder brother of Prof. Kithure Kindiki who was unveiled as Deputy President William Ruto's Chief Agent yesterday.


The Kenya Kwanza presidential flag bearer and Raila are touted as front runners in the highly-charged race.
