They were completely overjoyed because their parents were set to renew their vows after a long bout of sickness.

David's daughter Juliet Mwongeli Mutua in an interview hosted by Lynn Ngugi, as established by Mteuleonline24, her dad had been sick for quite a while and after being back on his feet, all he wanted was to bless his wife with a ceremony.

"The wedding was planned in one month and everyone looked forward to seeing dad and mum profess their love for each other in front of God and their family," she said.

However, what was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives turned out to be the biggest, most horrible tragedy that has permanently broken their spirits.

Juliet and her sisters traveled safely to Mwingi where a 51-seater bus awaited them.

Then they decided to take a breather through song and dance.

This, Juliet described as a farewell party. She felt like her sisters had a premonition and were preparing for their tragic deaths.

"They were so happy. Everyone saw it. Even the kids were dancing. We even ate so much and enjoyed each other's company. Little did I know this would be our last encounter," she narrated.

Minutes later, Juliet's 11 family members among other occupants got on the bus. But the young lady had left behind her mask so she rushed to get it.

When she returned, she saw the bus slowly sinking as screams echoed from every direction.

Within a few minutes, a couple of people were dead and others were being rushed to hospital for treatment.

Now, Juliet has been left with the burden of providing for nine kids whose parents passed away during that dark wedding day.
