Alinur Mohamed's response on revival of KBC channel 1

 "President William Ruto's communication team has hired DSTV a private media outlet to cover his inauguration. Local media which would have done a joint production at no charge will receive signal live from Kasarani Stadium from MultiChoice's live feed," businessman and politician Alinur Mohamed has said.

In his social media post, Alinur said the restriction for the local media houses to cover the event free of charge is revenge for what the William Ruto-led team claimed as unfair coverage during the presidential campaigns.

"This looks like a revenge by William Ruto on Citizen TV and NTV which Kenya Kwanza is saying were not fair while covering his campaigns! Those surrounding William Ruto should not mislead him the way those who surrounded President Uhuru Kenyatta did," he added.
