As received, Benjamin Rotich, the bursar of Kapkesosio Secondary School, was reportedly hit by Governor Barchok and rushed to Longisa Referral Hospital. Our thoughts are with him and we wish him a speedy recovery.

However, it is concerning that the governor attempted to cover up the incident. This raises questions about transparency and accountability in leadership. It is important for public officials to be held accountable for their actions, especially when they involve harm to others.
