46 Presidential Aspirants on Independent Ticket: Kukubo Nixon Jeremiah among the list.

The least number of people seeking to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta as President in the August 9, 2022 General Election are 46.

Mteuleoline24 has established that out of 46 presidential aspirants 27 made their applications to the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties through the online platform, while the rest made their applications manually, mteulineonlie24 established the reports.

One hundred and six (106) people are eyeing the 47 governor seats on independent ticket, while 147 want to be county senators.

At the same time, 110 people are seeking the woman representative seat on independent ticket, whereas 958 are eyeing the Member of Parliament (MP) position.

The Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat was the most sought after by independent aspirants, with 5,845 opting for the independent option.

A total of 7,213 aspirants are seeking to occupy different elective seats on independent ticket, with a bulk of them (4,421) making their applications online.
