Wajackoyah Pulls Out Of 2022 Presidential Debate citing Ruto will win on 9th August polls

Youths Reprieved as Government Finally Releases Ksh 554M Kazi Mtaani Payment

FILE The government has released Ksh554 million to be used in settling payments owed to youths who worked in the Kazi Mtaani programme. Housingand Urban Development Principal Secretary, Charles Hinga Mwaura, announced the release of funds on Friday, July 15, stating that all those youths who took part in Kazi Mtaani phase three cohort one in June will be paid immediately. Hinga announced that the beneficiaries would receive their money after the National Treasury okayed the release of the funds. According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, a total of 164,372 youths who took part in the programme will receive their payment. Road safety A Super Metro bus was involved in an accident at the Expressway entrance along Waiyaki Way on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. The management of Super Metro has attributed the Wednesday, July 6, accident at the entrance of the Nairobi Expressway in Westlands to a speeding personal vehicle that tried to join the elevated road from the opposite direction.  In a statement issued on Thursday, July 7, the management claimed that the personal car forced the Super Metro bus to swerve to avoid the collision.  The management dispelled media reports that the Super Metro bus was speeding at the time of the accident.  A Super Metro bus was involved in an accident at the Expressway entrance along Waiyaki Way on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
